I survived

Phew! Some of the rides at Six Flags were *really* scary. But I survived. And there are still many rides to be done. But I think we covered a fair share — Viper, Goliath, X, Scream, Riddler, Superman — to name a few.

Among other things, during some discussion with friends today, I realized that the US has never had a women president, or for that matter even a black president (I might be wrong, I’m no expert on US history, but this is what I’ve been able to gather). I was quite surprised, actually. I mean its weird to think that in 300 years of democracy, this so-called super power has not produced a single woman president.

• There have been only 3-5 black senators in US history, forget presidents!
• Nope, no black/woman president
• (Extension of (a)) – Currently there is NO black senator, well, until Obama just got elected from Illinois. He will be the lone black senator soon
