Website stats

I’ve been monitoring the stats for my website for quite a while now (infact, almost since it went online sometime last year). Throughout the Firefox campaign, I had watched the number of hits from Firefox browsers rise, but never crossing IE. However, since the past week or so, things seem to have been changed. Here’s what the latest stats look like:

|FireFox | 35.6 % |
|MS Internet Explorer | 32.8 % |
|Mozilla | 15 %|
|Konqueror | 7.2 %|
|Opera | 2.9 %|
|Netscape | 2 % |
|Unknown | 1.5 %|
|Safari | 1.2 %|
|Galeon | 1 %|
|MultiZilla | 0.1 %|
|Others | 0.1 %|

So finally it seems Firefox seems to have truly taken over IE (even though my website is hardly a representative website, its my own personal index nonetheless!)

The OS wars are also pretty close:

|Windows | 52.6 %|
|Linux | 41.5 %|
|Unknown | 2.7 %|
|Macintosh | 1.8 %|
|FreeBSD | 0.7 %|
|Sun Solaris | 0.2 %|
|OpenBSD | 0.1 %|
|NetBSD | 0.1 %|
